“The history of epilepsy can be summarized as 4,000 years of ignorance, superstition and stigma followed by 100 years of knowledge, superstition and stigma.”

— Bill Bryson

The big question:

Is it possible to change the narrative around a condition?

More so, is it possible to change the narrative around a condition as historically complex and stigmatizing as epilepsy?

We’re not sure. But we’re going to try.

Here’s the plan.

We’ll take our experience branding hundreds of organizations, and through thousands of media touchpoints, we’ll try to slowly shift the epilepsy narrative to a stronger, more sophisticated narrative – one that reduces epilepsy stigma.

And if we can reduce epilepsy stigma -even a little bit- we can increase adherence, improve mental health, drive awareness, and accelerate opportunities for people living with epilepsy.

This is Project Rebrand Epilepsy.

But we can’t do it alone.
